Teri Geer

As Manager of Client Services for The Family Office at Synovus, Teri Geer leads a team responsible for processing client requests and supporting the administration of client accounts. Focusing on operational excellence, client service, and regulatory compliance, Teri ensures requests are handled efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established company policies and procedures. She oversees, trains, and provides guidance to a team of Family Office Client Relationship Associates while also helping develop processes that align and support Family Office team members, Synovus Trust operational partners, and client families.

Teri brings more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been a part of Synovus since 2010. Prior to her current role, she held a variety of positions in administrative management and human resources, building a strong foundation in team leadership, operational management, and employee development. Her experience across multiple business functions enables her to effectively support both clients and colleagues while helping drive efficient service delivery.

Teri studied Computer Information Management at Columbus State University. She holds Health and Life Insurance licenses as well as an HR Generalist license and serves as a Trust Officer for The Family Office at Synovus.

Outside of work, Teri enjoys traveling and spending time with family. A native of Orlando, Florida, she lives with her husband and is the proud mother of two children and grandmother of four grandchildren.
