George Kent

A Senior Relationship Manager with The Family Office at Synovus, George provides financial, estate and investment advice for client families focusing on trust administration, investment management, estate and wealth transfer planning, and charitable giving. He is part of an integrated team who works to understand a family’s unique long-term goals and develop comprehensive strategies to help achieve those goals.

George has more than 32 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Synovus in 2001, he was Vice President and Head of Personal Trust for AmSouth’s Central Region.

George earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law, and a B.A. from Davidson College. In addition, he is a graduate of Southern and Cannon Trust Schools.

He is active in a variety of community organizations, including the Montgomery Symphony Association, River Region United Way, Central Alabama Community Foundation, and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. George is also a member of the Alabama State Bar, Montgomery County Bar, and the Montgomery Estate Planning Council.
