Carson brings experience in both the financial services and legal industries. Prior to joining Synovus in 2023, he practiced law with Page, Scrantom, Sprouse, Tucker & Ford, P.C., where he advised clients on a variety of legal matters. His legal background provides a valuable perspective in helping families navigate complex planning, governance, and fiduciary considerations.

Carson earned a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University and a Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia and holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation.

Outside of work, Carson remains engaged in his community and has served as a board member for the Land Bank Authority. A native of Columbus, Georgia, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their son, Whit.
