Blayne Barber

As a Family Office Advisor Associate at The Family Office at Synovus, Blayne Barber works alongside senior advisors to support Family Office clients through comprehensive wealth planning and advisory services. He assists in developing and strengthening client relationships across Alabama and Georgia, including the Birmingham, Montgomery, Auburn, and Atlanta markets. As part of an integrated team, Blayne helps deliver personalized strategies designed to support the financial goals and long-term objectives of high-net-worth individuals and families.

Blayne brings a unique background to his role, combining experience in both professional athletics and wealth management. Prior to joining Synovus in 2026, he served as a Wealth Advisor with Smith Thornton Advisors, where he worked with clients on financial planning and investment strategies. Before entering the financial services industry, Blayne competed professionally in golf for more than a decade on the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour, developing the discipline, strategic thinking, and client-focused mindset that continue to serve him in his advisory career.

Blayne earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University and holds the Series 65 license. He has three years of experience in the financial services industry.

Outside of work, Blayne remains actively involved in faith-based leadership and mentorship. He serves as a Regional Advisory Team Leader for College Golf Fellowship staff across the Southeast and is active in leadership within the college ministry at Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn, Alabama. A native of Lake City, Florida, Blayne enjoys spending time with his wife, Morgan, and their children, Emma, Ford, Lawson, and Maverick.
